What do I need to do to ride at Comp Park?
A: Bring a bicycle in good working order
B. Long sleeve shirt, Long Pants and a good Helmet
C. Parent or Guardian if under the age of 18.
How much does it cost and do I need a membership to participate?
A. Membership is required. Temporary memberships may be signed for anyone wanting to give the sport a try. Temp memberships are free and may be used for practice and 1 race with a $1.00 fee + the $10.00 race fee. A full memberhsip to the American Bicycle Association (ABA) must be purchased after temporary membership has been used. Full membership costs $45.00/ year.
What does a Full Membership Get me?
A. Liability Insurance coverage while participating at any ABA event at any ABA sanctioned track.
B. Points tracking for national, state & local points standing.
C. year End awards for all series such as national, state & local points.
D. Membership allowes a rider to compete at any ABA sanctioned track in the United States & Canada consisting of hundreds of tracks!
How much does it cost to Race & Practice and what are the Rewards?
A. Practice is $3.00 / rider for riders who don't hold a valid full ABA memberhsip. $2.00 for riders who hold current ABA full memberships.
B.Single Point races are $10.00, Double Point races $20.00 & Tripple Point races are $30.00. Multiple riders within the same family receive a $1.00 discount per rider from the same family!
C. Trophies & Saver Stamps are awarded to places 1st - 3rd. Saver stamps are stamps which are redeemable with local bicycle shop vendors as cash.
